Valvoline Garage Tours 401: The Petersen Automotive Museum

Our friends at Valvoline and Team Valvoline have been touring some of the coolest shops in the nation. In this episode they visit what is widely regarded as one of the most important car collections in the world, The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1994 by its namesake Robert & Margie Petersen, the museum is dedicated to preserving and exploring the automobile as it relates to life in America. Robert Petersen also founded Petersen Publishing Company, which featured many automotive lifestyle magazines that gave him a unique insight into how cars not only evolved with America, but how America evolved with cars.

With over 400 cars in The Petersen Automotive Museum, host Chris Forsberg gives viewers a look at the “vault” where the museum stores and work on cars in the collection.
