Herzog and BMR Score Third Top-Ten Finish of 2022 at Portland

Bill McAnally Racing competed in the ARCA Menards Series West on a wet Portland International Raceway on Saturday evening with three drivers taking to the 1.967-mile road course. Clovis, Calif.’s Austin Herzog earned his third top-10 finish of the 2022 campaign, finishing ninth in the No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet SS.

BMR was led by Daniel Dye – a 19-year-old from DeLand, Florida – who earned the pole position and ultimately finished fourth in his first ARCA road course start.

Cole Moore of Granite Bay, Calif., drove the No. 99 Adapative One Calipers Chevrolet SS to an eleventh place finish as well.

The Portland race opens up a stretch of back-to-back road course races for BMR. The BMR Chevrolets will hit the road at Sonoma Raceway on June 11 on the 1.990-mile circuit in the Wine Country.

Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) holds the ARCA Menards Series West (AMSW) record with 11 championships and eclipsed the 100-win mark in 2022. The team has piled on six titles in the last eight seasons with four different drivers since 2015. BMR will campaign the NAPA Auto Care entry with a newly renumbered No. 19 Chevrolet SS. Daniel Hemric will begin the 2025 AMSW behind the wheel at Kern County Raceway on Saturday, January 25th.
