Daison Pursley to Drive KKR NAPA Auto Parts No. 9

Kasey Kahne Racing is excited to announce Daison Pursley as the new full-time driver of the NAPA Auto Parts No. 9. Pursley will debut with KKR at the World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte before taking on his first full season with the team in pursuit of the 2026 High Limit Racing championship.
At just 21 years old, Pursley has already emerged as one of the brightest and most dynamic young talents in the sport. His resume includes the 2025 High Limit Rayce Rudeen Foundation Rookie of the Year, 2024 USAC National Midget Championship, 2024 Indiana Midget Week title, 2023 National Sprint Car Rookie of the Year, and an historic sweep of all three USAC divisions at the 2025 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora Speedway.

“I recognize Daison’s commitment to excel in the sport and be a top sprint car driver,” remarked team owner Kasey Kahne. “His story and resume speaks for itself, and in some cases, mirrors the same passions I had as a young racer. His drive, goals, and talent are aligned with KKR and our partners. We look forward to doing big things together.”
“I’m super grateful for this opportunity,” Pursley said. “To drive for Kasey and everyone at KKR is truly a dream come true. I look forward to carrying on the legacy and success that KKR has built. I’m also really looking forward to representing NAPA. They’ve been such a huge supporter of KKR for many years, and it means a lot to have them on board with me. I can’t wait to get things started.”
“As part of our continued partnership with Kasey Kahne Racing, we are thrilled to welcome Daison Pursley to the NAPA Racing family and look forward to ushering in a new era of success with the NAPA Auto Parts No. 9,” said Katherine Wooten, NAPA Director, Partnerships Strategy and Activation.
With Daison Pursley strapping in, KKR is ready to carry its momentum into 2026 and beyond. Backed by the strength of our partners, the team remains driven by one goal — to keep winning at the highest level.
