After a challenging outing in Michigan, Brad Sweet and the NAPA Auto Parts No. 49 team came back with purpose — and results — in a four-race swing through Wisconsin. The KKR team not only reclaimed the High Limit championship lead but also returned to World of Outlaws Victory Lane at Beaver Dam Speedway.

The week kicked off at Red Cedar Speedway with the High Limit Racing Series. After qualifying 17th, Sweet lined up 6th in his heat and advanced to 4th, locking the NAPA 49 into the Feature. From 12th on the grid, Sweet methodically worked his way forward, slicing through traffic to claim a strong 5th-place finish — a crucial result that helped him back atop the championship standings.

Just one day later, the team rolled into 141 Speedway for the Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race. Sweet qualified 14th and transferred through his heat to earn a 17th-place starting spot in the $26,000-to-win Feature. Gaining ground early, Sweet’s charge was interrupted when Sye Lynch spun in front of him, resulting in contact. The team hustled to make repairs in the work area, and despite the setback, Brad fought back to finish 17th — enough to retain the High Limit points lead by two markers.

Switching gears to the World of Outlaws tour, the NAPA 49 team headed to Plymouth Dirt Track on Friday night. Sweet timed in 6th in Group B and finished 2nd in his heat to make the Dash. Drawing the 8-pill, Brad battled forward to finish 5th in the Dash — a position he held on to in the Feature after a hard-fought, elbows-up 35 laps.

The Wisconsin finale came at Beaver Dam Raceway, a track where Sweet has shined in the past — and once again delivered. After qualifying 11th of 36, Brad placed 2nd in his heat to make the Dash. A favorable redraw put him on the front row, and Sweet capitalized. Battling Carson Macedo in a race-long duel, Brad took command with 8 laps to go and never looked back, scoring his fifth career win at Beaver Dam and a $20,000 payday in the Jim Boyd Memorial.
