Carlyle Tools Wins PTEN 2022 Innovation & People’s Choice Awards

For several years PTEN (Professional Tool & Equipment News) magazine has recognized the top companies in the automotive service industry with the Innovation Award and the People’s Choice Award. The Innovation Award invites companies to show off their best new products and be judged by an elite group of professional automotive technicians. PTEN 2022 Innovation Award

The 2022 Innovation Award was given to the Carlyle Tools’ 10mm Lock-A-Socket Rail. As every technician knows 10mm sockets tend to disappear. This handy socket rail securely locks each socket in place until needed with a simple twist. It can hold 12 sockets and include 10 locking socket holders (five 1/4″ drive sockets and five 3/8″ drive sockets). Each socket holder is prominently marked with a “10” so it is easy to spot. PTEN 2022 People’s Choice Award

The People’s Choice Award was given to Carlyle Tools’ new line of Technician Work Lights. Technicians can banish dark engine bays with a trio of LED lights: flashlight, headlamp, and work light. The high-power flashlight has four brightness levels (10, 50, 600, 1100 lumens) and up to 150 hours of run time on a single charge (in ECO mode). The headlamp can switch between spot light and flood light function with up to 24 hours of run time on a single charge. Finally the work light frees technicians from power cords with spot light and flood light capability, four brightness levels, and up to nine hours of run time on a single charge.

All these new lights feature the same easy to use wireless charging technology that is so popular with many modern cell phones. In fact, the charging bases for these lights can even charge wireless charging capable cell phones. The wireless charging pads have strong magnets mounted in the base for easy mounting on a tool box, or they can be mounted to a wall using provided screw holes. Two different charge pad sizes are available capable of charging one or two devices simultaneously. Both wireless charging pads use the Advanced QC3.0 Power+ Charging System for fast charging speeds. Either wireless charging pad is the perfect companion to keep work lights ready to go.
