NAPA AUTO PARTS Team Finishes Eighth at Fulton

Brad Sweet, driver of the No. 49 NAPA AUTO PARTS car in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, remains second in the points standings after an eighth-place finish at Fulton Speedway on Saturday night.

In the lone World of Outlaws Series event of the week at Fulton Speedway in Fulton, N.Y., 22 cars signed in to race the the 3/8-mile, high-banked oval track. Sweet qualified 11th and lined up fourth in heat 2. After eight laps around the track, Sweet had passed one car and finished third, lining him up for an eighth-place starting spot in the A Main.

The track conditions and handling of the No. 49 NAPA AUTO PARTS car made it difficult for Sweet to make up any ground. He finished the race in eighth, posting his 53rd top-ten finish of the year.

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returns to action for a triple-header weekend starting Friday, October 12, with a makeup date at Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois before heading to Terre Haute Action Track on Saturday, and Eldora Speedway on Sunday.
