Scelzi Earns Third Podium of 2020 at Colorado

ARCA Menards Series West rookie Gio Scelzi piloted the No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS / Curb Records Toyota Camry to his third podium of the season on Saturday evening. Scelzi’s performance lifts him to five top-fives in seven starts during the 2020 season.
The competition on the .375-mile Colorado National Speedway saw Scelzi qualify fourth and challenge for the top spot in the 150-lap race. Finishing third, Scelzi moves within two points of the fourth position in the championship standings.
Scelzi’s Bill McAnally Racing teammate Jesse Love won the race in his No. 19 NAPA Power Premium Plus Toyota Camry, while teammates Gracie Trotter and Holley Hollan finished fourth and seventh, respectively.
The NAPA AUTO PARTS team and driver Gio Scelzi move on to the ARCA Menards Series this weekend, racing at World Wide Technology Raceway near St. Louis on Saturday night. The event will be nationally-televised on MAVTV.
