Top Finish for Love in ARCA West Opener at Phoenix
Sixteen-year-old Jesse Love of Menlo Park, Calif., opened up his bid for a second consecutive championship in the ARCA Menards Series West on Friday, finishing sixth at Phoenix Raceway.
Driving the No.16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry, Love was the highest finishing full-time West driver in the combined event with the ARCA Menards Series. Phoenix was the site for Love’s championship win as it served as the 2020 finale last November.
Bill McAnally Racing teammate Derek Kraus finished fifth, passing Love on a one-lap dash to the finish in the No.19 NGK Spark Plugs Toyota Camry. Kraus won the series championship in 2019 driving the No.16 for NAPA AUTO PARTS.
BMR hosted a large group of guests from the NAPA Distribution Center in Phoenix through a BBB Industries sales event. NGK VIP crew members were also in attendance at the event.
Kraus visited NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores in Phoenix on Thursday as well.

Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) holds the ARCA Menards Series West (AMSW) record with 11 championships and eclipsed the 100-win mark in 2022. The team has piled on six titles in the last eight seasons with four different drivers since 2015. Loomis, California, native Jack Wood takes control of the No. 16 NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet for the 12-race campaign in 2024 and looks to add another title trophy to the BMR archive in his first full-time AMSW campaign.
