The partnership comes at an opportune time as inflation and rising gas prices begin to affect summer travel. The recent NAPA AUTO PARTS Road Trip survey[1] commissioned by NAPA AUTO PARTS found:

  • One-third of Americans plan to visit a theme park in the next 12 months
  • 72% of theme park visitors plan to get to their destination by automobile
  • Most (65%) planning to visit anticipate travel to take three hours or less
  • 60% of respondents said the intention in visiting a theme park will do so to spend quality time with friends and family

With automobiles serving as the primary mode of travel for guests, the NAPA AUTO PARTS parking lot service at Dollywood is perfect for anyone who faces a minor auto issue when they return from a day of fun in the park.

The sponsorship also includes activations at additional Herschend properties including Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri; Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Georgia; Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia; and Pink Jeep Adventure Tours, with various locations across the U.S. And with America’s largest network of parts and care, NAPA keeps families on the road across the country.

[1] All figures, unless otherwise stated, are from a YouGov omnibus survey conducted on behalf of NAPA AUTO PARTS. The survey was conducted online and fielded by YouGov on May 4 and May 5 with a total sample size of 2,568 Americans age 18 and older, 786 of which are likely to visit a theme or amusement park in the next 12 months. The margin of sampling error was +/-1.92 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
